Photo Monolithic Journeys

Hi, could I ask Man 1 to verify if these 2 photos were taken on 1st and 2nd Jan Please, as EXIF data states? And if so, he should have been referred to the RULES of this competition, that photos entered must be from the current month!!! This is not sour grapes from me, as everyone who been in this comp from the very start in 2011 knows that I enter my photos no matter what I have, in order to try keep numbers up and to share ideas, and encouragement.

honest opinion, the pictures should be removed from the competition along with the entrants scoring, no point in having rules if they are not enforced!

Hi everyone I must check the date settings next time I use my work camera, but I can confirm the pictures were taken in mid July (it was 30 degrees) not a trace of snow which you'd find in January in the same hills.

Hi all, just thought I'd comment on scores being made open to scrutiny - I think it'll inhibit some participants and therefore I would rather they were not made public, let's keep it fun, participant numbers are building nicely and we want to keep the numbers up and add to that. Frank

i personally do not have any preference as to whether the scores are showing or not, i score each image as i see it good, bad or indifferent no matter who took it, i know i am not famed for scoring high marks on many pictures i see photography as an art and like most things to do with art you either like it or don't
