I love the way 'Amstersdammers' live and use their bikes. When I lived there I never went anywhere without my bike, it was part of you. I like that he has the baby and flowers and seems to be heading home whilst she is heading off somewhere. Fab! I miss Amsterdam, wonderful place!

I quite like photos like this. It's more abstract and geometric: the lines of the slates, the strong, simple shape of the shadowed side of the bell tower. The limited colour pallete: a monochromatic sky, the brick texture and colour, and the shadows. Then there is the nice detail of the small flowers creeping round the edges of the slates.
